So I figured I haven’t done a video in quite a while. I’m working on one right now! I will edit and post it over the weekend. Unfortunately, I have a day job and that has been taking a lot of my time lately. I will need to correct that! In the mean time, I’ll post sketches of projects I’m working on.
A big fat thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth at Tucson Comic Con. It was a blast. There was some fantastic cos-play, as always. Anyone who bought a print, thank you! Anyone who stopped by just to look, thank you! And anyone who gave me great ideas for next year, thank you! We will definitely be back next year!
Just two more weeks and Vanquish Studio will be at Tucson Comic Con. Come check out our new display at Artist Alley 118!
So I’m trying to create some “how-to” videos for my YouTube channel BUT it isn’t as easy as one might think. First of all, you have to turn off your cell phone (I forgot)! You also need to pay attention to the record button. I pressed it and filmed myself setting up. You can see my dog sitting on the floor in the background. UGH! Eventually, I’ll get it but here are some outtakes that just didn’t make the final cut.
A while back I attended a workshop on how to create comic book characters. I decided to make my own worksheet from the notes I took. Here it is! It has a few pointers as to how to create comic book characters. Click on image below and you’ll find the link. The images I used are from a site called Dreamstime.com.
OMG, it’s been a long time since I did any YouTube videos. In fact, I only have the one video so far (eek). So. . . since I’m a teacher (yes) and I have the summer off (yes), I can come up with new content. That’s my next project!
